Today is our class reunion, I really feel excited. The reason is that I have been preparing for the reunion for quite a long time. Because I am the leader of the class, it is my duty to plan for everything, including ordering, restaurant arrangement and the time arrangement. To tell the truth, I am really exhausted because it took me a lot of time to prepare for everything and to put everything in great order, but I really want everyone to have a good time. That's why I try my best to do what I should do.
On Thursday night, we gathered together in front of our school and we set off together at about 6 p.m. It was really exciting on the way to the restaurant because some of us were having a car race competition although it was dangerous. Actually, we were not driving really fast; on the other hand, we were just having fun. At that time, I was very nervous because I was concentrating on the directions. I was really frightened that I might forget the way to the restaurant.
We had a wonderful dinner at that restaurant and I also got my certificate of merit which was in commendation for my outstanding academic performance during last semester in freshman year. I was really happy that I got the feedback for my hard-working. We enjoyed the meal there and chatted with each other. We also took some pictures. Most important of all, I got what I want during the reunion that was the smile on everyone's face. I knew that I really held a wonderful and memorable class reunion. I was extremely happy for what I have done.

The Volleyball Team of English Department
As everyone knows, English department is always full of girls. There are only limited boys in each grade of English department. As a result, the English department is always not good at sport because generally, the boys or girls who are studying the literature usually have no great talent on the sport. However, there are still a few people who are really talented in sport and have a great interest in sport. I am one of them and my favorite sport is volleyball. I am pretty good at volleyball but because of lacking of boys in our own department, we could not unite a volleyball team and that is the reason why I could not have the volleyball competition with other departments during my freshman year.
Things have been changed a lot because we have some freshmen who are fond of sport join us. They joined many different kinds of sport team. Some of them joined the volleyball team, some joined the basketball team, and still some join the soccer team. These teams are all founded by our own department members. This year can be the golden year of sport in our department. Not only for boys but also for girls. In the past, these teams are only for girls because there are not enough boys to found the team. I am very excited because we, boys of English department finally can have our own ball teams and we can have the competition not only with the other departments in our own college but also with those in other colleges. It's a token of the dignity and the identification of the boys in English department. I am really happy and I hope this trend can last forever.

The Freshmen Camp
Finally, we held our freshmen camp last weekend in a farm. Although the place was not big enough for all of us, that meant we did not have enough room for every members, so some of the workers had to sleep outside the rooms in the sleeping bag, we still had a very good time.
During the camp, we had many activities. When we arrived at the farm, every team workers came out to have the self introduction. Then we began to play the guitar and sang the songs together. In the afternoon, we had the games on the playground and the most impressed was that there was one team who lost the games when competing with other group. The punishment was that they had to choose a boy and a girl to have a security kiss and they had to kiss other no less than 10 seconds. There was a girl who wanted to be the volunteered so that I was really shocked and I thought she was really a brave girl. At night we had some fantastic performances such as acting, dancing,and group activities. On the second day, we had the RPG game in the morning. I played the role as Michael Jackson, and I had to reapeted the same lyrics the whole morning. That really drived me crazy. Before we went home we had a funny activity which was to choose the boys in each team to decorate them as the girls and let everyone choose the most beautiful girl to be the top camp girl. That was really funny and everyone enjoyed it a lot. The boys who were choosed tried their best to make themselves become more feminine.
Whenever I recall the memory, it's still very interesting. Without any doubt, this will become the beautiful memory in my heart and I will never forget it. I hoped that I still have the chance to participate in the freshmen camp when I am a senior.

Midterm Exam V.S. Freshmen Camp
Sorry that I dismissed the class on Tuesday because I had a lot of exam to prepare. = = To tell the truth, I think that the course in the year of university is really harder than the freshman year. Especially the other languages that I have to study are really difficult that I have to spend a lot of time to figure out the grammar of the other language. I regret choosing two second foreign languages as my credits. First of all, it is tough for me to study two languages at a time. Second, the grammar is so difficult that I sometimes feel confused with the difference between Spanish and English.
Why I am a little late for preparing the midterm exam is that I was preparing for the freshmen camp during the past three weeks. It a pity that we hold the camp right after the exam week. It really makes me tortured when the school works and camp stuffs come up together at the same time. Of course that I cannot complain about anything; after all, it is my own choise. I enjoy participate in the activities that are held by our own department, but this time , a little difference is that we hold the camp with other department. If we do the best job and hold a successful activity, I will feel proud of not only myself but also all the workers who pay their efforts in the activity. A Beautiful Night of Music
On Thursday night, I went to the guitar club to play the instrument with some freshmen of our department. We had eight people in the room with a piano. Four of us could play the piano, three of us could play the guitar, and one of us was a biginner of the guitar. We got together and enjoyed the music together. We played the instruments that we had and sang the song together.
At first, we played the piano piece by piece and we played by turns. After several pieces, we began to played it together. Two people at one time; one played the main melody and the other played an accompaniment. It really excited and fantastic when we played it together. After the piano playing came the guitar playing. Three guitar players played together and one of them even sang loudly. It was really a wonderful time that all the people who were fond of music got together and shared personal experiences and showed our fantastic talents and skills.
After that night, I really missed the time that I was still learning the piano. It was a way for me to dispel the pressures and enjoy my life. However, I stopped my piano learning when I was in senior high school because of the heavy burden of studying. Even though I can still play the piano today, my performance is not as good as before. I think I will buy a piano when I have enough money. I am not sure when this goal will be achieved, but I will make it one day.
